TRACK MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Summary: Oversees preparation and maintenance of dog racing surface and associated facilities and equipment.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Purchase materials and equipment
• Directs track surface preparation
• Maintains ponds and associated equipment
• Operation of track heating system
• Meets regularly with State Veterinarian
• Coordinates with Racing Association
• Must be available to work all shifts including beyond scheduled shift
• Full-time position available - pay based on experience

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directs all track maintenance staff.

Education and/or experience: Must have extensive knowledge and experience with farm equipment and mechanical techniques.
